Portfolio

Image
Indesign gave me some trouble when I began using it for the first time, but I once again became comfortable once I had used it more. If I had more time, I would add graphics to this protfolio to make it more visually appealing and pop off the screen more than it does. That being said I still really enjoy the simple look of my portfolio and the easy to follow design.

Rotoscopy

Rotoscopy video complete! Took a very long time to create this. I have a new appreciation for animation creaters! If I were to do this project again I would have chosen easier footage to work with that was more distinct from the background. The skateboard always got messed up in the layers which added time to the project. My favorite part was using garage band to create background audio.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdFsNl8j738

Pixelation

Final product of my pixelation project. This took way longer than I thought it would! If I could shoot this video one more time there would be a few things I would tweak. First DIYed a very sketchy tripod which ended up falling before I could throw the final pillows on my bed. I would also smooth out the use of my  magic "wand" that is making my bed for me. I thought the actual making of my bed came out very well and I love how I am not seen so it really does seem like it's magic making my bed.

Pixelation

For my pixelation project my 1st idea is to shoot myself getting ready in the morning. Brushing teeth, brushing hair, putting on makeup etc.  My 2nd idea would be cleaning my room. Starting with a messy room, i'll shuffle around and clean it up. Lastly, I could shoot myself doing laundry. Beginning with grabbing the basket from my room, making my way to the laundry room and then doing the laundry.

Autoscopy

Here is my Autoscopy picture. I struggled a bit in the beginning with isolating the layers to apply separate filters, but once I figured that out I had a lot of fun playing around with the filters. The only parts I did not apply a filter to is my skin and backpack straps. I think this makes the picture pop a bit as everything else has a blurred effect.

Multiplicity

Image
For my multiplicity project, I plan on taking a series of photos in my living room to tell the of friends watching the super bowl, playing games, and socializing. I plan to change my shirt for different characters. Character 1 and 2  will be watching the tv, looking very excited as her team is winning, and the other will look upset as their team is losing. Character 3 and 4 will be on the ground playing a board game. As character 3 is watching the game, character 4 will be cheating and moving the pieces around . Character 5 will be delivering hot food that they were cooking in the kitchen, wearing mits and an apron. The last character will be walking into the frame holding up drinks and looking very excited that they just arrived at the Super Bowl party.

Somewhere

Image
I choose to place myself in one of my favorite scenes from Top Gun Maverick. It was a bit tricky with the sunset lighting in this picture but I am content with how it turned out. I was able to add my reflection onto the sand by inverting the image and then using the blur tool to make it look like a reflection.
